PERBEDAAN KARAKTERISTIK SIDIK JARI POPULASI MONGOLOID JAWA DAN AUSTROMELANOSOID PAPUA DI INDONESIA

Sidik jari tangan berperan penting untuk mengidentifikasi seseorang, karena setiap orang memiliki sidik jari yang berbeda. Sidik jari merupakan salah satu data primer selain DNA dan gigi. Pola sidik jari merupakan salah satu cara dalam membantu proses identifikasi individu. Analisa sidik jari dengan menggunakan metode analisis foto jari tangan dapat membantu identifikasi seseorang dan asal populasinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukMengetahui perbedaan proporsi karakteristik sidik jari tangan di antara populasi Mengoloid Jawa dan Australomelanesoid Papua. Sebanyak 128 subjek populasi Mongoloid Jawa dan Australomelanesoid Papua yang terdiri dari 32 laki-laki dan 32 perempuan dari masing-masing populasi dan diambil foto jari tangannya, kemudian dilakukan analisis karakteristik sidik jari. Analisis statistik menggunakan Chi Square. Dari 128 subjek penelitian, terdapat perbedaan proporsi signifikan pada pola sidik jari kanan dan kiri antara populasi Mongoloid dan populasi Australomelanesoid (p=0,000). Terdapat perbedaan proporsi signifikan sudut triradius jari kanan dan kiri antara populasi Mongoloid dan Austromelanosoid (p=0,001). Pada jumlah sulur tidak terdapat perbedaan proporsi signifikan pada jari kanan dan kiri antara populasi Mongoloid dan Austromelanosoid (p=0,309). Terdapat perbedaan proporsi yang bermakna pada pola sidik jari dan sudut triradius dalam membedakan antara populasi Mongoloid dan Australomelanesoid.
ABSTRACT
Fingerprints play an important role in identifying a person, because everyone has different fingerprints. Fingerprints are one of the primary data besides DNA and teeth. Fingerprint patterns are one way to help the individual identification process. Fingerprint analysis using the finger photo analysis method can help identify a person and their population of origin. This study aims to determine the differences in the proportion of fingerprint characteristics between the Javanese Mongoloid and Papuan Australomelanesoid populations. A total of 128 subjects of the Javanese Mongoloid and Papuan Australomelanesoid populations consisting of 32 men and 32 women from each population were taken and their finger photos were taken, then fingerprint characteristics were analyzed. Statistical analysis using Chi Square. Results shows the 128 study subjects, there was a significant difference in the proportion of right and left fingerprint patterns between the Mongoloid and Australomelanesoid populations (p = 0.000). There was a significant difference in the proportion of the right and left finger triradius angles between the Mongoloid and Austromelanosoid populations (p = 0.001). In the number of tendrils, there is no significant difference in the proportion of the right and left fingers between the Mongoloid and Austromelanosoid populations (p = 0.309). In conclusion, there is a significant difference in the proportion of fingerprint patterns and triradius angles in distinguishing between the Mongoloid and Australomelanesoid populations.
