Abstract

ABSTRACT
Stunting as a growth and development disorder in toddlers is a significant nutritional problem with a weakening of the immune system which causes cognitive, motor and intelligence disorders which result in decreased learning capacity. The method with a scoping review search strategy identified relevant research according to the JBI protocol. Initial searches on 4 databases, namely Pubmed, Cochrane library, Proquest and Google Scholar, searches were carried out using the keywords Mother's Knowledge, Feeding, Practices, Prevent Stunting. The selection of articles to be included in this scoping review was carried out in 2 stages, namely screening with PCC and criteria that could answer the research questions, then data extraction was carried out, then analyzed, followed by presentation of the results, discussion and drawing conclusions. The number of articles obtained was 963 articles, after duplication checking, 103 articles were found to be duplicated so that the number of articles further screened was 860 articles. From the results of screening the titles and abstracts, 22 articles remained. Of the 22 articles that were read in full, there were 8 articles that met the criteria, namely being able to answer the research questions. Nutrition education programs for mothers are very important in improving children's nutritional status. Nutrition education will increase mothers' knowledge in choosing appropriate and safe food ingredients and how to provide good food so that they can prevent nutritional disorders in children. The results of this research can be recommended to the government to develop various health promotion and intervention strategies for children with nutritional disorders
